The next part of the day brought us to Portland Oregon.  We usually don’t visit cities on our travels.  We are rednecks at heart and are not fans of cities for the most part. Portland however is different. Even though it is considered enemy territory. We decided to cross into it.  Not that I have a problem with the people of Portland, it is however the city that birthed the Hipster.  The slogan for the city is “Keep Portland Weird”  and it is weird. The people are weird, the stores are weird and it all fells weird!  Middle aged men like myself were sporting Bowler Hats, wearing kilts, and had piercings in all varieties of flesh.  This was a short trip just to get a feel for the vibe.  While there we decided to have lunch a Franks Noodle House. You can tell by my horribly distended gut that I really enjoyed my lunch.Speaking of that. Looking at all of these pictures of myself makes me want to vomit. Things are gonna have to change after this trip is over. Just saying! Anyway.. This was bar none the best noodles that we had ever had. All of the food that we had was just awesome. When we choose this place we had no idea the Guy Fiere had just shot an episode of Diner’s Drive Ins and Dives there. I was so impressed I needed to get a picture on my man Frank. This place rocked! Enjoy the random pictures of hipsters and weird folkIMG_1503
